The winner of the 2012 Hilary Weston Writers’ Trust Prize for Nonfiction for her book, A Geography of Blood, Ms. Savage is the author of more than 20 books. Jazz pianist Don Griffith plays a pre-talk musical prelude and Saskatoon band The Lost Keys play a post-talk musical set.
